Admin update: Changes to the Creator Report

Hi there! Just to let you know, we've made some changes to the Fan Flashworks Creator Report (which is now linked in the comm sidebar).

If you click the Badges button, you will see a chronological list of the badges you've been awarded on the comm.

Clicking the second-level Badges button gives you three options:

All Badges - all the badges available on the comm, grouped by type. This is the same as the badges page on the Community Report.

My Badges - (default) all the badges you've been awarded on the comm, grouped by type, with an embed code button.

Available Badges - fan_flashworks badges that you haven't earned yet.

We have also added a button, next to the Unfilled Challenge button, called Next Skill Badge. This shows you a random skills training badge that you haven't earned yet, and the requirements for that badge. You can use this for inspiration if you want to focus on earning new badges.

As always, if you notice any issues or inconsistencies, please let us know. You can comment here, or submit an Issue Report via the form. :-)

Yuletide 2025 Nominations Closed

Thank you for your nominations! Nominations are now closed. We have 6078 fandom nominations to sort through: that means that at least 1216 people nominated, but probably more. This is lower than our highest ever number of nominations received previously - 6257 - but higher than last year's 5950 nominations.

So, what happens next?
First there's a pause. We review the information we have already and get our ducks in a row. Then, when we begin to approve your nominations, it won't be in any obvious order. The approvals interface shows us fandoms at random, rather than according to who nominated them or when the nomination was submitted.

Help us get through approvals faster - please keep an eye on this community for questions about nominations we find confusing. In turn, if you are confused by how we've approved your nomination, you can ask us about it. If you submitted evidence close to the end of nominations, we may also have follow-up comments for you; however, we won't be accepting any evidence for new canons now that nominations are closed.

Start writing your letter, if a letter is part of your approach to signing up!

When your nominations have been approved, let other participants know at the nominations coordination post on DW!

As a reminder, you are required to leave a comment on your gift in order to participate in the next round of RelationShipping, and it's also just good practice. If you cannot leave a comment on your gift for whatever reason, either reject the work or give a heads-up to the mod email before the next round.

If you've been around the exchange-focused anon memes lately, you're probably aware of some backlash regarding the way an EPH request was handled by the lead mod this round. The recipient affected has been contacted privately and the exchange will be under new management going forward - by a mod who isn't a member of the "mod cabal" discord, if that counts for anything.
